ABOUT MAEVE
Maeve Stier is a NYC-based vocalist, accordionist, and arranger currently enjoying a stay on Broadway in the prologue of Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club. Originally from Portland, OR, Maeve made a splash in Portland’s music scene, sharing the stage with the likes of Josh Groban and Pink Martini, as well as local legends Johnny Franco and his Real Brother Dom. They played original arrangements of jazz, folk, klezmer, and opera on street corners and stages of all kinds. Their work in musical theater and opera brought them to companies like Third Rail Repertory Theater, Portland Opera, Renegade Opera, and most recently, to The Kit Kat Club in New York, where they made their Broadway debut.

PHILOSOPHY
I believe access to great music involves bringing it any venue; opera houses, auditoriums, bars, living rooms, sidewalks, or classrooms. That’s why I will play wherever I’m allowed to! My art is informed by whimsy, technical skill, resourcefulness, and a love of entertaining. As a childhood educator, I believe that music is also a valuable teaching tool and brain builder.
